In the hospitality of Khobar Municipality and in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture Ithra, we were pleased today to honor the winners of the Retal Competition for Urban Creativity within the Eastern Creative Initiative, in the presence of the Mayor, the President of Ithra Center and the CEO of Retal.
The competition included the participation of many interested in design and architecture, who submitted high-quality designs, which were supervised by a specialized jury for each of the first track Designthon to design the garden of the future in the Iwan Tharwa project, and the second track Designthon to develop King Salman Bridge in the city of Khobar.
Retal’s participation comes within the Eastern Province Innovates initiative in its fourth edition, which is organized by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture “Ithra” under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, in partnership with the Municipality of Khobar and the Environment Division of the Urban Sciences Association, which aims to enhance talents and reveal capabilities in the field of urban design and enable specialists to participate in development projects related to the Eastern Province, which contributes to achieving the values of citizenship and Establishing the concept of quality of life, to ensure the level of services provided to beneficiaries.
